*** Random Poetry Anyone? ***
Wednesday

Sail Away
I've lost my anchors.
Set adrift on this sea of sadness.
Uncertainty is my course.
Loneliness is my companion.
I expect the wind and waves to buffet
And overturn me.
But naught befalls my solitary ship.
The ocean turns to ice.
It freezes all around me as I seek
Desperately for some sign of warmth.
And I find it,
But only in the fleeting flicker of
The stars in the sky.
