*** Random Poetry Anyone? ***
Thursday

Foggy Night
Wrap me in your cool, wet arms.
Hide me from this world.
Tonight I am truly alone.

With each step
The mist around me stirs.
Are you hidden here?

Innundated with
Thoughts and damp,
I've lost my way home.

Is that your light I see,
Flickering, in the
Still, wet air?

Perhaps you have come
To find me.
Will you lead me home?

No.

The dark will protect me.
Here I cannot be seen.
Tonight I am truly alone.

The sound of the heart
Beating in your chest
Does not reach me.

Yet I can still feel you
In the deepness
Of the mist.

But I am here,
And you are there,
Two seperate worlds.

So this I say to the fog,
My sole companion
on this moonless night:

Wrap me in your cool, wet arms.
Hide me from this world.
Tonight I am truly alone.
