*** Random Poetry Anyone? ***
Friday

someone wrote this partly inspired by me, my name (storms of roses), and one of my poems (the tundra line). i think that's awesome. i'm posting it here so i'll know how to find it when i want to come read it.

and i think that this site is more of a poetry storage bin than commenting site, but that works... we al need somewhere to stick our poems so we won't lose little pieces of paper or files when our computers crash. hah.

Storms of Roses and Forget-Me-Nots

For many hours have I wandered
Through summer gardens, roses plundered
While in torment feelings scarlet
Scarred by thorns of vicious violet

Jaundiced thoughts a constant flicker
Of hope deceased the taste bitter
As the bile of a dying dog
Savage love and forget-me-nots

Bloom under blackened skies
Like the petals in her eyes
She has no heart or time for me
She's a bitter anemone

That's as cold as Arctic tundra
All my dreams ploughed asunder
What dark days lie ahead
Shall I await delicious thunder?
